Type used by the PutMiscDeviceData and GetMiscDeviceData functions.
Possible values:

mdc_GPIO: used to set/retrieve the GPIO state
mdc_VPD: used to set/retrieve the VPD (Virtual Private Data) state
mdc_VPD_Data: used to set/retrieve the VPD values.
